Myddellton College Tour 2022
Training & team building sessions!
AT apd, we belive that with our high level coaches and players work ethic on and off the pitch, they can enter the next level. during their time on tour, our myddelton boys took part in training and team building sessions to ensure that they can perform at optimum level on the pitch as a team!
with the great talent and determination to win that the myddelton boys have, we was able to challenge them to enhance their strengths and improve their weaknesses.
coach dan took their first session. dan is our head coach at holcombe grammar school and director of football at apd. he ensured that the players benefited from his knowledge and experiance within coaching football. all players were engaged and performing with a high intensity from the start of the session through to the end!
all players were able to play a small sided game at the end of their session to showcase their indivudal talents and put into practice what they had learnt during their session!
as well as training on the pitch, all players also took part in team building activities & had a q&a with our other apd coaches!
This was extremley important for the boys going into the apd cup! all players developed new knowledge of eachother and how they can use eachothers strengths to enhance their performance levels as a team on the pitch!

The APD Cup!
what a day for the myddelton boys! the apd cup took place at holcombe grammar school, wednesday 25th may. our myddelton players were split into two teams who both played eachother and 5 other teams!
the tournament gave the boys to be exposed to a new style of football that is played in london and kent. with all games being a tough battle, the boys played with passion and performed at a very high level. the boys represented apd in the greatest way and showed what they were capable of as a team and individuals!
with the training and experiances that the boys had at the start of their tour, they were able to play their best game and showcase their talents.
West Ham Stadium Tour
On the boys second day on tour, we took them to london to experiance the west ham stadium tour!
due to the players being from north wales, many was yet to see a london football club. the boys were educated throughout the tour on the clubs history and how they have become a big club that they are today.
the players had the opportunity to sit in the stands, be in the changing room and get a feel for a matchday experiance as a west ham first team player!
we belive that this experiance opened the players eyes and enabled them to dream of playing in london at a big club themselves. during their time at apd, they will be given the chance to play pro teams and showcase their talents to new audinces.
